WEBINAR  February  6, 2021

9:30-11:00 A.M., E.T.

Ultrasound-guided thermal ablation treatments are nowadays playing an increasingly important role in the multidisciplinary management of patients with benign nodular thyroid disease, and are increasingly offered as a rst therapeutic option. This trend is rising even more in the last months in which, due to COVID-19 pandemic, clinicians are re-defining their clinical practice considering ambulatory treatments as a feasible alternative to the surgical approach due to the need of reserving beds and staff for emergency COVID-19 patients. ModìLite treatment perfectly fits these needs, allowing simple and fast procedures performed in an outpatient setting and without the need of anaesthesia,  for the micro-invasive treatment of Benign Thyroid Nodules (BTNs). During this webinar, ModìLite treatment will be presented, with particular attention to the indications, the results reported in the literature and possible future applications.
